THE CHALLENGE
Create an experimental, experiential piece of typography to represent an episode of BBC radio 4’s ‘Short Cuts’.
MY RESPONSE
I chose to represent an episode called ‘Waking Life’ which discussed the chemical process the brain goes through when we fall in love. I wanted to represent the unseen chemical reactions human brains disguise when we fall in love by creating a 3D piece of typography that appears to state ‘emotions’ from one angle but as the viewer moves the word changes to ‘chemical’.
