THE CHALLENGE
Create an awareness campaign conveying a meaningful message to a public target audience. Cycling associations prefer to avoid gory and shocking approaches to cycling safety campaigns as these are more likely to put people off cycling.
MY RESPONSE
After researching how the successful seatbelt campaign was done I decided to approach this with a similar attitude. I wanted a memorable slogan that could be understood at all ages. I rewrote the popular nursery rhyme, Humpty Dumpty and used a cartoon like graphic to continue the suitable-for-all-ages, easy-going style on quite a serious subject matter.
